The Phantom: The Card Game, a solo playable cooperative deck-building game chronicling the adventures of ‘the Ghost who walks’ is getting its first expansion as publisher Games By Lyck recently announced Terror in Mawitaan which is coming soon to Kickstarter. Based on the titular Phantom Sunday story originally published in 2003, Terror in Mawitaan has The Phantom crossing paths with Chatu ‘The Python’ one of the most ruthless villains the masked avenger has ever encountered.

“The war on terror reaches Mawitaan as the notorious Wambesi outcast-turned-killer Chatu enters Bangalla with his ruthless men to demand a safe haven from which to direct future operations. In a disturbing game without winners, the Phantom locates the terrorists, but must tread carefully so that the bomb the killers have hidden in a public building is not set off. As for the expansion, author Mikael Lyck describes it as follows: “In addition to this we are planning a 15 card Add-on for “Stamus Contra Malum” a Side-Mission connected to Diana in the Jungle Patrol. We also hope to include an extra 7 card Side-Mission about training Devil, that is connected to Story of Devil in the base game. This is a planned stretch goal.”
